This Lalique Black Tanzania Vase is sensual blend of frosted and smooth glass complimented by the delicately formed fluid lines. This piece is painstakingly hand-crafted in France. The graceful nature of black crystal sets the stage to showcase the masterful craftsmanship and the intricate designs utilized by Lalique.
Hand-painted color enameling and mouth-blown glass are united for the first time in over 50 years. Marie-Claude Lalique has created "Tanzania" with a central frieze of galloping zebras, dividing two crowns of lush, satin-finished tropical leaves.
The bottom is signed "LALIQUE". Great condition, no cracks or chips. 8" tall and 8" diameter. Felt tips on the bottom. Comes with the original box and the Lalique Magazine with the Tanzania Vase featured story from xxxx.
